SPECIAL DOUBLE-LENGTH EPISODE! 😁👍 Last year, just before our channel's annual October festivities kicked off; I put some "STAR WARS"-related content already recorded (and partly-edited) concerning "AHSOKA" and a lightsaber nontroversy on strategic hold on a hunch that there'd be more to talk about from that particular property later... well, I was right 🤷‍♂️
Over the course of a few months, the gnarliest corners of sci-fi's most contentious fandoms exploded with controversies over everything from imaginary laser-sword physics to context-free filmmaker quotes to "SOUTH PARK" parodies to a YouTuber feuding with a Jedi Master over (maybe?) A.I.-assisted identity-'borrowing.'
And all the while the galaxy far, far away is... well, that's the question - isn't it? Or is all this posturing and shouting all about a whole other cynical something else for everyone involved? 🤔
