Well, as you might have guessed, I couldn't resist driving myself broke to replace my aging GTX 285 graphics card with a shiny new GTX 570 Superclocked! This card is compatible with DirectX 11, and now we're all set for R.A.G.E., Skyrim, and Bioshock Infinite. :D

I take you through three benchmarking sessions using the Heaven benchmarking tool, using the Unigine Engine. I first test my old GTX 285 card in DirectX 10 mode, which averages about 25 frames per second. Next, I test the new GTX 570 Superclocked without tessellation in DirectX 11 mode, and I squeeze out over 42 frames per second, which is over a 66% improvement from my previous card. YES! Finally, I add tessellation, and I still achieve a healthy 36 frames per second.
