Well, where do I start? I found this cheap Chinese no-brand RCA video capture thing on Amazon and thought "why not?" As you can hear, the audio capture has some issues with higher and sustained notes, and the video capture is kinda muddy. It needs some work. But I think I know why.

Basically, the instructions that came with the device only partially work. Yes, the way it told me to capture audio worked, but somehow OBS was able to do that without detecting the device at all? How? So then I look at where the audio is going, and it says it's going to my microphone for some reason. You know, the one that's not plugged in. So then I think to myself, what if the video is being sent as a camera signal? Sure enough, it was, in the camera app on my PC. However, for whatever reason, it wouldn't show up on OBS unless I told OBS TO RECORD THE CAMERA WINDOW ITSELF. Which led to about half a second of input lag, meaning I look a lot more crap at the game than I actually am. However, I'm excited, and hopefully I can get this working (and looking...and sounding...) better.

Exciting times ahead!
