New Masochist Series starts! every loss is 3 minutes of exercise
6Basic rules:
no starter deck cards, your journey starts by opening only enough masterpacks to build a full 40 card maindeck (should be 5 or 6)
no buying structure decks, also additional starter decks gotten viacompleting missions or the solomode decks arent allowed to be used
no crafting cards
no opening selection or secret Packs
no guaranteed solomode cards (or the swords of revealing light from the missions)
pulling a natural royal rare allows you to open one of each secret Pack it appears in, for free. if it didnt open one or it came from a legacy Pack, you are allowed to open an additional masterpack for free
SILVER Proficiency test is allowed (mainly for legacy packs)
Free legacy packs/cards awarded for wins are allowed
Every win you get to open 1 masterpack (open one at a time or save up 10 for the reduced cost bundle)
GOLD Reaching a winstreak of 3 allows you to replace that 3rd win masterpack with a secret pack, if there is a free access token for it in the Shop. (or replace the 3rd masterpack with one of the daily login Packs, since you can skip being forced to open those by exiting MD iirc, i just note down the amount of "3 winstreak replacements" i have saved up)
PLATINUM reaching a winstreak of 7 allows you to replace that 7th masterpack with one of the shop 10 masterpack bundle URs
PLATINUM everytime you rank up after unlocking this rule you may open a masterpack (reduces misery after reaching the big lull)
PLATINUM if you end the season in platinum 4 or higher you may open 1 secret Pack you have unlocked for each rank above platinum 5 (not allowed to open the same Pack twice)
Solomode rules:
earned gems are good
legacy Packs rewarded are ok to be opened
if you clear a Solo Gate (loaner and own deck) completely (aka the checkmark turns yellow) you may open 1 masterpack as a reward
GOLD In addition to 3, using your own deck in "SP deck challenge 1/2" you may open a masterpack for each duel you beat there.
Event rules:
if you use your own deck, same rules as for Ranked apply.
if you use a loaner deck thats also fine, but only to earn the gems from the points/missions
