In this part 1 first impressions Edge of the Abyss Awakening gameplay walkthrough I will give you my first impressions of the game. Edge of the Abyss Awakening is described as an adventure game that combines third-person, action, medieval themed combat, roguelite rng elements and RPG game strategy with character creation and progression. You can even team up in CO-OP with up to three other players at once. Edge of the Abyss Awakening has Dark Souls like boss fights with lots of unique weapons each with their own playstyles to choose from; the sword and shield, katana, duel swords, two handed greatsword and spear that can all be upgraded and new armor sets unlocked. The gameplay is like a dark souls boss rush game where you must survive each liner dungeon level to defeat the main boss in each region before progressing to the end boss. The random spawning of enimies and different environments keeps the gameplay fresh. You can check out my Edge of the abyss awakening review for my thoughts on this early access gameplay.
