Welcome back, Pokémon Trainers! It's time again for a weekly news update video!

- Once again, I've got a Pokémon TCG booster pack to open up! This week will be Fates Collide, with the code card (as always) going out to one lucky viewer. I'll open up the booster near the end of the video, and give you viewers the Question of the Day for you to respond to. Leave your response in a comment down below using the hashtag #QOTD, and you'll be entered into the running to receive the code card (chosen randomly) when I do the drawing this coming Sunday, July 17th.

- With our Pokémon Stadium playthrough having come to a close, it's time to look toward the future of our weekend videos, and that future is Pokémon GO. Not currently released in Canada as of yet, as soon as it does officially become available, I'm planning to start a recurring series of my adventures throughout my hometown (and perhaps surrounding areas) in search of wild Pokémon in the real world!

- In Pokémon Shuffle, some new items are being distributed (ending July 26th): a pair of Raise Max Level enhancements, as well as a Skill Swapper enhancement. Each of these items has specific Pokémon they can be used on, as detailed in the latest Pokémon Shuffle update. Also available (until July 19th) are a number of new Special Stages: Giratina in an escalation battle (in which the stage's level increases each time you defeat Giratina, with increased capture rates and special items at higher levels), Celebi in a standard encounter (which may drop a Celebi Skill Booster if you defeat it again after capturing it), as well as the Regi Bros. from Hoenn, Regirock, Regice, and Registeel.

- Registration for the next ORAS online competition, the Sinnoh Classic, opens this Thursday, July 14th. Pick your teams now and register early to secure your place in the competition! Check out the link below for full details on this particular competition:

- Let's sit down together and talk about the Pokémon TCG Standard format rotation coming up for the 2017 Play! Pokémon season. A number of very powerful cards (Pokémon and Trainers alike) will be rotating out of legal tournament play under the Standard format, being replaced by new cards from the upcoming Steam Siege expansion. A full breakdown of some major changes on the way with this rotation can be found at the link below:
