Here it is:

The run that marks the most change since last year, and the one I felt most hyped to finally release above all, not because of the setting, not because of fact it's a few of many in a predominantly Halloween world for this game...

but the fact it was the last ever video I recorded for Halloween 2020. (I consider that window ending right after October 31st. Everything else is a new year's run from then on, because the holiday is over)
The mindset I was in while recording this last year was one of "Great. I screwed it up." and I powered through it, just feeling really bad and disappointed at myself.

I had like 50+ Halloween videos and I wasted it on my own overthinking in distributing them. I sulked the whole time running this, getting increasingly annoyed the more I struggled.

and I was literally at the point where most of them, I was having to put music on just to push through. Something I rarely EVER do. The atmosphere of the levels is the exact reason I do it. I get so invested in that. It's the same thing that pushes me with all those licensed games I run. It's a genuine passion.

Were it not for all this theming I'm doing-- I wouldn't be striving anywhere NEAR as much optimizing these levels and such. That was missing, and to have that gives me power to press on. Without that, and just music-- what can do that for me really? This is why this channel is more than just "Speedruns" for me. All about the atmosphere, which for a Halloween level this has that in spades.

Pumpkins, slumbering ghosts, creepy music, being in a forest, being in a forest AND a graveyard! Having Grim Reapers there... you get the idea.

Me just sat there feeling the vibe of this level but knowing "This is it. I have to wait another year. Who knows where this game will be strat wise from then"
