What's up ๐ ladies & gentlemen ๐จ๐ปโโ๏ธ๐ฉ๐ปโโ๏ธ, it's-a-me ๐ SuperKevinuts! ๐คฉ And welcome back, to another video ๐๐ผ, in which in this charming tonight ๐๐๐ , I'm bringing you the complete playthrough of another nostalgic ๐ฅบ, yet super-short flash-gameโก๐ค๐คญ , called : "New Super Mario Bros". โจ๐ฒ๐ป๐ Judging by the name given to this great flash-game, you already guessed what's it about. That's right! It is a bootleg version, I guess you could call it that way, of the OG amazing 2006 platform video-game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo DS, called : "New Super Mario Bros". "New Super Mario Bros." is a side-scrolling video game. While the game is seen in 2D, most of the characters and objects are 3D polygonal renderings on 2D backgrounds, resulting in a 2.5D effect that visually simulates 3D computer graphics. The player can play as either Mario, or his younger brother, Luigi. Similar to previous Mario games, Mario and Luigi can jump, crouch, collect coins, stomp on enemies, and break open blocks. Moves from 3D Mario games reappear in New Super Mario Bros., including the ground pound, triple jump, and wall jump.[4] Enemies from previous games, such as Boos, are also reintroduced. This game is something similar, except it was made in an Adobe Flash software. Also, it is very short, has as enemies only some Piranha Plants & you can play only as Mario. Once you open it, you'll be shown a pretty simple designed main-menu, having as a background the one used for : "Bonus Room" from the OG : "New Super Mario Bros.". A background made from big square with light & dark green color palettes & "Mario Bros" NES styled sprites of Mario standing still & Luigi jumping in place, also made from squares with red, green, yellow & white color palettes. A big title for the game : "New Super Mario Bros", written in : "Super Mario Bros." & "Franklin Gothic" fonts. A small : "World 1" text written with the : "Arial Black" font, meaning that this game is just the first part. from possibly a bigger series of these type of flash-games & a : "Play" button, written again in the : "Super Mario Bros." font, for you to press it & start the game. The game begins in a recreation of the first world in the OG game, the : "Grassland" world, grass ground with bushes & flowers in different colors on it & lots of green & orange pipes to jump on that serves as platforms, as well as hidden blue blocks that can be revealed by pressing the red P-switches from the famous 1990 2D action-adventure platform game and a launch title released for the : "Super Nintendo Entertainment System", called : "Super Mario World". Later in the game, these blue blocks will also serve as tricky platforms 'cuz they'll either spin around to make Mario fall in the pit from below him. The background of this world consists in a bunch of big hills, surrounded by clouds. There are many coins to collect as well & even blue ones that are hidden just like the blue blocks & these can be revealed only by popping the : "Magic Ball", also taken from : "Super Mario World". Finally, you can also collect Green or 1-up Mushrooms during your journey to restore the health bar in case you got damage while playing. Of course, there will be tricky platforms made of grass blocks as well & these ones will either go up & down, or go down & sit in the pit for a few seconds, before rising up again, tricking Mario into jumping on them, so he can fall in the pit & die. The game ends with some credits & Mario jumping into a large pit.
