The finishing of Sparkling Waters and the playthrough of Soda Jungle.

After everything we playing a bunch of Nintendo Land games and Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale, we play this game. I really had some fun with this one, as did everyone else, due to how helpful or how much of a hinderance the Gamepad can be. Sure the Gamepad player doesn't control a character but they can save or even kill other players with block placements and fumble with enemies. To kill characters you can brick wall them by placing a block in their trajectory over a pit, or you can place the block under them to save them from the pit. You can even pop player bubbles when they respawn: causing them to die again or giving them a safe place to land. The coolest part is with the cooperation of the other players, the Gamepad player can acquire Star Power! In a specific amount of time (I'm not a 100% how much time yet): if the character players jump on each block in succession that the Gamepad player places, the Gamepad player will fill up a Star meter. Once filled the Star will bounce on the Gamepad screen and once tapped, the Gamepad player can now KILL enemies, bust open bricks and item blocks. So when the screen starts glittering with stars, that means the Gamepad player has Star Power.

Danny gets his usually jerk on with the Gamepad in the underwater level by holding down the Water Dragon in our way. The counter to this is the fire balls since they speed it up. He also places blocks over tunnels as well. Once I get a hold of the Gamepad, I realize the potential of it and I make the call to stay on Gamepad duty. I make a lot of saves that leads the guys to develop the bad habit of expecting me to save them all the time. These dummies even thought that having Star Power would keep them from dying in the purple goop...some people really don't know Mario games! Me and Danny also team up to give me Star Power as well. Fun stuff.
