Part 3. I get some Power-Up Panels and approach the Mid Castle, Jump in the water with 1-4, and run into a goomba.

The Mid-Castles always have a stone and brick theme with an ominous music playing. Makes sense since they are castles with torches and whatnot. But most of these levels have you move upwards rather than then running to the left. The Ice Flower becomes a common Power Up since it can help with the enemies the Fire Flower does not. Freezing Dry Bones is a lot more satisfying then breaking them apart.

Power-Up roulette box - jump with the right timing to pick what comes out of it. But I only really go for one thing... heh heh heh.

The Koopa Kids make their return, and get a new trick or two to use. This one here will shoot blue fire magic at you. You may repell this with Ice Balls. You can hit the Koopa Kids with fireballs to deal damage along with jumping on them. (6-7 Fireballs = 1 Jump). This one is not hard.

1-4 Is a full on water stage. And it's chocked full of cheep-cheeps. The Ice flower is given to you a lot in this level, so use it to keep them at bay. The problem is the large schools of them you run into, it's just crazy.

Just before moving to the next area, I bump into a Goomba. Running into a enemy on the map starts a "Rescue the Toad" mini-mission where you have to collect 8 icons. Once you do, the chest with Toad inside appears. He gives you 3x Mushroom Power Up Panels as thanks.
