384New World Patch 1.2 Gypsum Orb System Explained Gear Score High Water mark Expertise Guide.
Gypsum orbs is the watermark rework to vastly increase your gear score in New World. You get them from weapons armor loot and quests. I will rank the orbs on their difficulty and offer some advice on which orbs to aim for if you are limited on time or already have expertise max in that weapon or armor category! We will also talk about a few bugs and gypsum that are going beyond the daily cap as well as the cooldown timers being off. The topaz attunement potions is also giving only 10 loot drops from monsters that you must pick up or miss your chance at the daily. The system is great for helping players catch up in item level and make meaningful progress into Aeternum. I will share my recommendation on which ones to do and what to aim for when you gear score gets higher or what to do when your items are lower level and you have many things to focus on!
