22I really can't quite explain how they came to this decision but let’s break it down for those that are less aware of what’s going on. New World is taking the endgame of the entire game and making you pay for it like a hostage rescue. How?
Let’s see shall we.
Looking at how the game is set up before the update hits, honestly the only true end game activities, pve wise, are mutated expeditions mostly to farm umbrals and gear. Get some level 10 mutations under your belt and fill your inventory with umbrals to upgrade any piece of gear you want to 625. That was really the end game pve content. Well you know it was not great but it was something.
Now, with the Rise of the Angry Earth update however, it’s all gone. Let me explain.
