New Year's Update for January 2023!
Happy New Year! Here's what we've been working on and our plans for the start of 2023.
TL;DR:
All Metro Siege level environments have been designed (with rough art) and Alex Brown (the programmer) is making them all work in-game. After this is ready, Corey and Mike will have a creative meeting to finalize the concept and plot-points for all boss fights to carry the plot of the game.
We've finished all art for the introduction of the level 2 boss for DaemonClaw, and added a cold breath effect to the player and all humanoid enemies in the level 2 snowy mountains environment. We also continue to work on the marketing art for DaemonClaw and will soon launch our developer page on itch.io
We've updated to the latest version of Scorpion Engine and used the new enhanced platformer options to give the player character refined jumping physics and will soon add the new screen scrolling and camera options to improve and modernize the screen scrolling in Scorpion Boy as well.
