New YouTube Channel Layout 2013?? | First Impression ◄Linkin Talks►
8I just heard about the new YouTube layout yesterday. I had to go check it out right away on iJustine's channel and I was once again really disappointed by what I was seeing. So many things are wrong about the whole channel layout. We've seen bad changes in the past youtube updates but I would say this is the worst that we have witnessed yet. It's basically killing all the smaller channels and making it harder for new youtubers to get noticed inside the ocean full of youtubers, due to the lack of being able to stand out of the crowd and be unique. It's seems that this channel layout doesn't have a customizable background. You apparently can't upload your own custom made backgrounds anymore and that will make it difficult to be original, in ways of delivering more unique style than others. Backgrounds have been an important part of youtube for a long time now, and I would hate to see them vanish in thin air. Ask the GFX people. They're all probably really mad about this, since they can't continue their "background designing" work and things like that. Some actually make backgrounds as a job. How can they continue that with this layout? You might think that people just don't like to see changes, but I think this is truly getting out of hand and YouTube is constantly being made so much worse. There is no improvement at all. I spend a lot of my time on this website and I would hate to see it turn into a pile of crap that it is going to be soon. I hope I can somehow help stop this from happening. I really believe this is a HUGE step back for YouTube! VIVA LA REVOLUCION!....or something (lol)
