1. TWO FISHERMEN KILLING CASE: The Supreme Court vacated its order restraining Italy's Ambassador Daniele Mancini from leaving India as the two Italian marines, accused of killing two fishermen, and returned India to face the proceedings of the court.

2. BABRI CASE: The Supreme Court questioned CBI for delay in challenging Allahabad High Court's ruling that conspiracy charges will not apply to Advani and others in Babri Masjid demolition case. The apex Court sought affidavit from senior law officer of Centre seeking explanation for the delay in filing appeal against L K Advani and others.

3. INTERNATIONAL OIL PRICES FALL: Fuel prices have come down. The price of Petrol has been reduced by 85 paise per litre with effect from midnight last night.
4. LPG CYLINDER CHEAPER BY THREE RUPEES: Non-subsidised cooking gas has become cheaper by three rupees per cylinder. According to the Indian Oil Corporation, a 14.2-kilogram LPG cylinder that consumers buy after they exhaust their enhanced quota of nine subsidised cylinders in a year, will cost 901 rupees 50 paisa from today.

JAGANMOHAN REDDY CASE: CBI yet to file final charge-sheet: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probing the disproportionate assets case against Reddy and others told a special court here on Monday that it would file a supplementary charge-sheet in the case against three pharmaceutical companies on Tuesday.


6. KERALA'S MINISTER RESIGNATION: Kerala's Minister for Forest, Film, and Sports K B Ganesh Kumar has resigned. He submitted his resignation to Chief Minister Oommen Chandy late last night at his official residence in Thiruvananthapuram. The resignation follows an allegation by his wife, Yamini Thankachy, that she was the victim of domestic violence. Based on a complaint by his wife, the police registered a case against Ganesh Kumar.
7. MUNICIPAL ELECTION: First municipal election will be held on April 16. The election take place on Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh and Pasighat, and counting will be organized on May 21.
8. SENSEX: The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange climbed 176 points, or 0.9 percent, to close above the 19,000 level, at 19,041, today. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange gained 44 points, or 0.8 percent, to 5,748.

MALDIVIAN HIGH COURT STAYS TRIAL OF EX-PREZ NASHEED IN ABUSE OF POWER CASE: Maldivian High Court has put on hold the controversial trial against former President Mohamed Nasheed by the Hulhumale Magistrate Court. The High Court was ruling on the appeal by Nasheed's lawyer challenging the legitimacy of the lower court's bench.
11. OLYMPIAN VIJENDER SINGH AGREES TO PROVIDE SAMPLES FOR NADA DOPE TEST: The National Anti Doping Agency, NADA will conduct tests on Boxer Vijender Singh in accordance to the WADA, World Anti Doping Agency code. The NADA tests are to be conducted should be left to the discretion of the agency and the athlete.

12. 6TH IPL CRICKET TOURNAMENT BEGINS IN KOLKATA : this evening the stage is set for the opening of the Indian Premier League- IPL-cricket in Kolkata today. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will inaugurate the event at a colourful function at Salt Lake Stadium in the evening.
