How long can I last without using Continues in Arcade Mode on Hard?

On Hard, on top of Normal changes (compared to Easy), all enemies you destroy generate revenge bullets. Dealing with this requires complete shift in play style. Instead of shooting all the time, you have to get more methodical about when and what you shoot, while frantically running around trying not to get touched by any of the enemies or the projectiles they fire regardless.
