Nexon, the Korean developer / publisher of games like The Finals, Dave The Diver, Warhaven, Maplestory, etc. was fined by the Korean FTC for manipulating drop rates in the loot boxes of various items in their F2P gacha games and also found that Nexon misled / lied to consumers on the descriptions and capabilities of in-game premium items and microtransactions like the 'Cube' (Red Cube, Black Cube, Glowing Cube, etc.)
