Is it time for devs to move to exclusively to making games for the newest gen of consoles? Next gen might be hindered by the continued development for older consoles, but not everyone can find or afford an upgrade at the current time. With games like Spider-Man 2, Starfield, and other blockbuster games coming exclusively to next gen systems, we have seen a lot of third party games continuing to come out on PS4 and Xbox One. Even first party titles such as God of War Ragnarok will come to PS4 this fall, so when will we be asked to fully embrace the new generation? When will the PS4 and Xbox One be retired?
