Twitch came out with an off-hours blog post about updates to their revenue split for creators, and MAN does it have just about everyone upset with the already flailing platform. Huge earners like xQc, Pokimane, and Hasanabi might soon follow in the footsteps of the likes of Timthetatman and CouRage and head to YouTube Gaming after Twitch announced that high earners on the platform won't be able to enjoy their 70/30 split after June 1st, 2023. They also effectively admitted for the first time that they favor larger creators over smaller ones, which has many smaller creators upset that Twitch doesn't see them as valuable in the grand scheme of things. This could realistically end up with Twitch dying in the next few years.
