The Anbernic RG552 #handheld is the 'next-gen' of retro gaming consoles featuring the RockChip RK3399 processor which has 6 cores running up to 1.8 GHz. It has the Mali T860 MP4 GPU. There's 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB eMMC storage for Android inside, along with a 16GB Micro SD Card for Linux OS and 64GB storage card for plug and play #retrogaming.
As a note: Some early reviews have demonstrated up to half a second audio lag on the Linux OS. Anbernic have since fixed this issue and we have tested it to confirm. Unfortunately it was just before this video was due to go live so we have not shown it working in the video. The updated Linux OS firmware should be already installed in the versions shipped to customers on the release date around December 20th onwards. We will make a separate video covering Linux in more detail after a future firmware update.
