Next generation hardware. Resources & Soviet: Republics Worker. TBD2 51
We're on new hardware for the Soviet Simulator. If you're interested in how this game performs, and what to focus on if you want to optimize your system for it, there's some good stuff in the first 20 minutes or so here, interspersed with the normal ramblings of course.
Many of the conclusions drawn regarding CPU performance and how it limits us in just how much we can build would also apply to many other similar types of games where the "world simulation" is done in one single thread. All though other games which have fancier graphics may benefit from fancier GPU. You won't bottleneck any GPU that could be considered resonable in 2020 with Soviet Republic. This channel is operated under the principle of Value For Value. Have you received any value, be that entertainment, a laugh, facepalmed, ASMR, pleasure, or simple misinformation?
