NFL Players Finally Allowed to Raise Awareness, For One Week
NFL Players were finally allowed to break away from the uniform dress code that prevents players from showing support of organizations, social issues or non-profits during Week 13 through My Cause, My Cleats. Many of the prominent NFL players took part in the week, one stand out being Steve Smith Sr. of the Baltimore Ravens, who donned “end domestic violence” on his cleats. Jason Rubin and Francis Maxwell break down why this is one step in the right direction from the NFL.
Should My Cause, My Cleats cover all 17 weeks of the NFL season? Leave your thoughts in the comments section below!
