Review:-
I’ve made a gameplay about this car before but never made an accurate review about it nor included it in the leaderboard. So here it is. The Regera is not a horrible car but not so great either. First let’s start with tuning. The car has a top speed of 245 mph with either low or high downforce. The difference between the two tuning setups is that with the low downforce the car has better acceleration and reaches its top speed more easily but suffers at the handling department and loses more speed around corners. With high downforce it is the exact opposite; the car handles much better and is quicker around corners and have better lap times in general.
Also, the Regera is the only car in the game that uses the Screw Supercharger and is actually much faster. The reason for this is because the Regera has very weak acceleration and when you install the screw supercharger you get a huge boost in acceleration. Yes the car’s top speed drops but as i said before the car has a top speed of 245 mph. So using the screw supercharger gives you the best of both worlds; good acceleration and you are able to reach the car’s top speed.
Note that the car grips too much to the road and you need to set the Drift Style to Brake to be able to push the car to its limits around corners. The Regera used to be neck and neck with the RSR and was even able to overtake it in straight races since it had a top speed of 260+ mph in NFS Payback. But due to the Regera’s relatively weaker top speed and the lack of straight races in NFS Heat, the Regera has no chance against the RSR with the car being around 11 seconds slower.
