Going to mention that I've used barons car for every race from blacklist 10 to 1. I have not bought a single thing in this playthrough nor have I lost any money yet. The rule is to get as far as possible using only barons car on the default upgrades. I use the other blacklist cars for the speed trap milestones just to save time of having to retry them a bunch in barons car, but they are possible to beat with the cayman s.
