NFSW - Apex Online Server MW TE On ReShade & Shader Editor [1440p]
Video is 1440p but the in-game resolution is 1080p in this video, and I'm getting 30 FPS since Bandicam is forcing the vid res to be higher. I get around 80 FPS when not recording.
I don't know how many of you know, but for a while, NFS World has worked very well on a public online server (probably a month or more since it became more stable), containing over 150k registered players. The sync is now allowing races with more than 2 players, and pretty much all original NFSW features are working. The best part is that everything is available for in-game cash on this server. You have to start with a new driver profile, but the progression isn't that hard. If you wanna play NFSW online again, then I advise downloading the launcher of this online server and also joining this Discord server: https://github.com/SoapboxRaceWorld/GameLauncher_NFSW/releases https://discord.gg/8T8dMa5 ('how-to-play' channel of that Discord server is outdated, that's why it says some features aren't working)

How to install (I included a readme.txt with the following text inside the download above); First off, you must install NFS World via the launcher from the link above if you don't have it installed already, and then run the game at least once on your machine (if you didn't already). Afterwards, you must close the game and go to \Users\ [your use name]\AppData\Roaming\Need for Speed World\Settings. UserSettings.xml file will be there. Open it with notepad or whatevev allows you to edit it, and scroll down until you see 'VideoConfig'. Two 'VideoConfig' texts appear with stuff between them. Now download my graphichs mod and open its 'NFSW In-Game Graphics' file folder. There's a UserSettings.xml.txt. Open it, then copy all its content, and paste it between the two 'VideoConfig' texts I told you about from the UserSettings.xml file of your NFS World installation. Make sure to save the .xml file after the pasting. You may want to change the resolution to your liking before saving it though, basicallly the screenheight and screenwidth numbers.
The next step is getting ReShade along with my preset. This preset is mostly just for more realistic motion blur like in the vid and some DOF. It's rather optional. If you are going to skip it, then you may as well turn fsaalevel from the .xml to 4, and motionblurenable to 1. If you aren't skipping this step, then keep fsaalevel and motionblurenable from the .xml disabled (AKA both of their values set to 0). Now you need to open 'NFSW ReShade Preset' file folder from my graphics mod download and extract its content to your NFSW directory (one of these files is named nfsug2_ktmxhancer.ini, don't let that confuse you though, this preset has been edited to work for NFSW and look just like in the video). If your NFSW directory isn't C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\Need for Speed World\, then you have to open the d3d9.ini and edit the EffectSearchPaths=, TextureSearchPaths= and PresetFiles= to update their location in order to make sure they match your NFSW directory.
Final step is for getting wet and aqua-ish roads like in the vid. Open 'NFSW Shader Mod' file folder from my graphics mod download and extract it somewhere. Launch the game, and then run WorldShader-Final.exe from 'NFSW Shader Mod' which you just downloaded. Click 'Ok' when the WorldShader-Final.exe asks you (after running it), then go to World Material tab, click the 'NFSW' text on the right side, and finally click 'Load'. That's it! From now on, all you you'll have to do is launching the game along with the last bit of stuff I wrote afterwards.
