I have a ton of games in my backlog that I've either never played or played very little. So I thought it might be fun to sample semi-random games and upload them so everyone can see how terrible I am at them!

So here we have a game called N.GEN Racing for the PlayStation. It was developed by Curly Monsters and published in North America by Infogrames in 2000. I had been interested in this game for a while now and finally picked it up the other day. I was not disappointed, this is a very fun game so far! It's an arcade race, but with jets instead of cars / hovercrafts / karts. It's similar to Wipeout, but you're not "stuck" to the track. It has a career mode, which sounds very similar to Gran Turismo where you buy new jets, upgrade them, etc. The gameplay is really smooth and while not blisteringly fast or anything, it hums along pretty well for a PS1 game. If you're a fan of racing games from this era, I strongly urge you to check this one out. I captured this video on a PlayStation.
