Even after the latest gameplay patch, I'm still seeing an appropriate number of tripping penalties being called in EASHL 3v3 matches whenever the defender attempts a poke check from behind or from a side angle. You have to be positioned in front of the puck carrier and have your stick a safe distance away from the skater's feet if you don't want to end up committing a penalty this year. I am fine with how the move works after the latest tuner update. I was using my 5'7" 160-pound sniper center build in this match.
