After putting in 45 hours in to the game and with only one more area to go, I encountered a gaming breaking bug. I talked to Kublai to advance the story and was instead treated with a cutscene that was early in the game again. Then I started falling through the game endlessly until I did a travel spell to get back on the ship. I talked to Kublai again and then to Marcassin. The cutscene for the ivory tower (last place in the game) played but then I was transported to .. Oliver's house? So I gatewayed out of there and traveled back to the ship. But I can't talk to Macrassin or Tengri now so there's no way to reach the ivory tower. If anybody knows how to fix it, it'd be greatly appreciated.
