My Review of Ni No Kuni: Wraith of the white witch.

As gamers, I think we all have that one game that we were really hyped for when we saw the initial trailers for it, but for some reason, couldn’t really get into it when we actually experienced it the first time. It could be that it wasn’t what we were expecting, maybe we weren’t just in the mood for it at the time, regardless. These things happen. And for me, no kuni wraith of the white witch was that game.
From the charming visuals, how it seems to have that childlike sense of adventure within its framework and etc. I was really excited for Ni No Kuni, to the point I bought the Collector Edition day 1, but unfortunately, I couldn’t really get into it at the time, with me stopping right around where you get the boat. So why am I making a video about Ni No Kuni 4 years later? Well from constant pressure of my friend saying the games gets better after the boat, and how ni no kuni 2 is right around the corner. I decided to just say screw it and tried it for the 2nd time. So has my opinions soften for this game? Ehh. I would say I appreciate it more now that I actually played it through to completion and I can definitely understand why people love this game but I do think the game has some pretty noticeable flaws that holds it back even though it has some really strong points that really does make it stand out. Even compared to the RPGs that has come out in the current generation. So, without further interruptions, lets just look into what makes Ni No Kuni into the unique title that it is. Hello, I am Peter_47890/Sirus and welcome to my Review of Ni No Kuni: Wraith of the White Witch. Ni No Kuni: Wraith of the White Witch is a rpg that was developed by Level 5 and Published Namco Bandai. It is only avaliable on the PS3.

Summary:

Overall Ni No Kuni is a game where Im pretty mixed with. I really want to like the game because it does have its strong points. Such as its charming gibli-eshe aesthetics, the beautiful music, the imaginative and creative lore within the world of ni no kuni, and the story and character being likeable enough that it's still an enjoyable journey to experience and the familiar building is satisfying. But I do think its unfortunately held back by the ending parts of the game, the sidequest while being novel at first does turn out fetch questy, and especially the combat of the game which is pretty flawed in its fusion of turn based and real-time combat mechanics with their also being a few design choices that Im pretty iffy about. Now with that said, I can understand why people like this game as much as they do, it just has this unique charm to it that no other game can really replicate with it still feeling wholly unique even 5 years after its release and being in a new console generation. It's just a shame that I couldn’t personally like it as much as other people.
