NICK54222 MUGEN: Sayaka Miki (me) VS Anakaris (hsiehtm)
11Honestly, this idea for a video was inspired by that Walpurgisnacht Rising trailer that came out earlier this month. So if you haven't seen it yet, please be advised as I will discuss a spoiler in the description.
Anyways, a scene of the upcoming Madoka Magica film had Sayaka's face in bandages save for her right eye. However, while some fanart of that appearance has been made, we only officially saw her face and right hand. So it's hard to say if there's more of them in her body. The bigger question I have for this is what caused this to happen to her...
And that scene gave me inspiration to use Sayaka against Anakaris. Strange connection, but I wanted to give Sayaka a proper fight. The timing is fine too, given how close we are to October (and how Halloween items were being sold for a few weeks now yet still in September). And I will admit I did try using a certain version of Anakaris before sticking to hsiehtm's version (without an AI Patch as I wasn't aware if he had one when I recorded this). I won't explicitly say who it is as some of you can probably guess that developer, but I will say his Togame no Ana caused a bug with Sayaka. Not sure about other characters though, but then again, that was made years ago.
Regardless, this Anakaris can be tough at times (his default AI). He can dish out some strong combos, can send your projectiles back with Kotodama Gaeshi, and even turn you into a bat with his Ouke no Sabaki. There's also ranged moves such as Hitsugi no Mai, and Miirai Drop, which is a ranged grab. Be on the lookout for his supers as well since they can deal major damage once they hit.
I could have honestly countered at certain points, but I also wanted to practice getting Sayaka's combos in general. Particularly, air combos that are extended with juggling here and there. But there's also the matter of me just conserving energy when I probably should be fine because having 5 power bars makes the meter increase faster than the average 2-3.
