Welcome to another episode of Random MUGEN Mania!

Yesterday was the last part of the Dual Warriors MUGEN Competition II, so this recording was done on Thursday. If any characters got updated between then and when this video is posted on Saturday, that may explain why they're outdated. I'll do some more Thursday recordings later this month due to scheduling conflicts BTW.

I'm also planning a stream tomorrow (didn't mention it during the recording, but I want to do more streams before the end of 2023), so let me know if any fighters have an AI Patch or have better versions ASAP.

The SuperBIG motif has been filled up (with some overtaxing). This means that unless I have to make drastic replacements, I cannot add new characters to it anymore. They'll have to go to the UltraBIG motif instead, but since I'm doing streams again, we shouldn't forget the need to give characters AI Patches and/or better versions. Suggestions are still open, but I might not add some characters until I get the UltraBIG motif ready.

OHMSBY's updating his characters burst system which includes a tactic called Exceed Accel (or EXA for short). As such, some of his fighters may have their AI Patches temporarily removed until they're updated with the new system as well. This may also affect the status of fighters from similar developers when they all eventually get the EXA update (pending for the latter, the former is confirmed). I hope you'll understand this decision.

Here, you'll see randomly selected characters take part in a 4v4 turns battle on a randomly selected stage.

As the roster grows bigger and bigger, it will become less likely to see certain characters take part in these battles. But while the new ones won't be grouped up until later, I want to at least inform to you the versions I'm using. Still, there's a ton of possibilities we could have here.

I'm currently working on the UltraBIG motif roster and organizing it. However, I'm adding some of the new releases to the current motif out of pity for those characters and the fans who like them. They'll be at the bottom of the roster and therefore at the bottom of the roster list.

BTW, here's a link to the roster if anyone's interested. This is for the characters, not the stages, so keep this in mind:

Regardless, I hope you enjoy this video.

NOTES (SPOILERS):

I didn't say this at the start, but I did make a few temporary replacements of fighters I don't expect to be explicitly requested for. The new characters are Joker (Persona 5), Beast (Marvel), Aardvark, Count Duckula, and Mr. Kill.

Breakers and Breakers Revenge (updated version of Breakers) are obscure Neo Geo games. I mispronounced the game as Slayers, which is an anime series based on a light novel.

Toguro has three forms in the base game (Yu Yu Hakusho 2: Kakutou no Shou): 30%, 80%, and 100%.

Ruckus was the Shades of Manhattan fighter rounding out the left team in the first match.

Power Athlete's the original name for Power Moves (name outside of Japan) and Deadly Moves (Genesis port).

Evoga (the developer of Rage of the Dragons) wanted to make a sequel to the Double Dragon fighting game from SNK, but weren't able to get the rights. Therefore, the game was a homage to the series, so that's why some characters have similar names (Billy Lewis, Jimmy Lewis, Abubo, etc.).

Hauzer's super move may have absorbed the hits from The Fool (Iggy's Stand).

Alien Green is from Battle Circuit.

Bullet is from BlazBlue: Chronophantasma.

If there's anything else I forgot to mention or clear up here, or if any of the characters used have AI Patches available or alternative versions, please let me know. Some old sites that hold MUGEN content are being taken down due to their providers going out of service and making certain files unobtainable (even at the archive (yes, that site)). New links for them would be helpful, namely ones posted on Mediafire for example.
