NICK54222 MUGEN: Neptune (me) VS Erika Furudo (Baggy)
6Erika Furudo's up next. Unlike the other Umineko fighters we've faced, she's based on her appearance in Golden Fantasia. But that doesn't mean she won't be as brutal as the others.
I didn't know she had a Bernkastel assist when I did this, so we'll be facing Erika with Dlanor A. Knox and the Eiserne Jungfrau assisting her. This nod to Rika Furude can steal your power, has a counter if you try to attack, and has the Eiserne Jungfrau for assistance like I mentioned. If they're used, they can either attack you without getting countered, rush you for a super, or even help out Erika in supers. There's also a lot of hitstun, so that's why ranged attacks are best for me (the ones I used can be chained into some close range attacks, but it'll depend on what character you use.
In this case, using Neptune here helped out. I know, but I wanted to try using different characters for each of these Umineko fighters. I really tried to keep my distance for this one due to what Erika's capable of. Not the most optimal, but again, this fighter is somewhat cheap. I might consider the same strategy if I ever do a rematch with Bernkastel instead of Dlanor A. Knox.
