NieR:Automata - Part Three
12B and 9S were ordered to investigate the machine lifeforms in the Desert Zone, but what they found was unlike anything they had seen before. These machines, having evolved in isolation, had begun mimicking human culture, engaging in ceremonies and wearing garments reminiscent of the past. The origins of this behavior remained a mystery, but it was assumed to be the result of contact with old human data.
Their investigation led them deeper into the unknown, where they encountered Adam and Eve for the first time. Following a fierce battle, Eve’s emergence caused a violent reaction, altering the terrain around them. But the fight was far from over.
The next stop was the Amusement Park, a once-vibrant place now twisted into something dark and sinister. Simone, a Goliath-class machine modeled after an opera singer, had lured 2B and 9S there, having crucified androids to harness their black box signals. Obsessed with beauty and love, she resorted to cannibalizing her own kind in a desperate attempt to transform herself. But in the end, her pursuit of perfection only led to her downfall.
With Simone defeated, friendly machines at the Amusement Park expressed their gratitude to 2B and 9S, offering them a tour of the area. But with the mysteries of the machine lifeforms deepening and new threats on the horizon, their mission was only just beginning.
NieR: Automata is an action-packed JRPG developed by PlatinumGames and published by Square Enix, available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC. As the second entry in the NieR series and an indirect sequel to NieR, the game takes place in the year 11945, during the 14th Machine War, where androids wage an unrelenting battle against machine lifeforms in a war that is anything but black-and-white.

NieR: Automata Become As Gods Edition – Released on June 26, 2018, exclusively for Xbox One, featuring the 3C3C1D119440927 DLC expansion along with other bonus content.
NieR: Automata Game of the YoRHa Edition – Released on February 26, 2019, for PlayStation 4 and PC, including the same DLC as well as additional PS4 avatars and dynamic themes.
NieR: Automata The End of YoRHa Edition – A Nintendo Switch port developed by Virtuos, launched on October 6, 2022. This version includes all previously released DLC, plus an exclusive 6C2P4A118680823 DLC featuring new cosmetics.
The NieR universe expanded even further with the release of NieR: Automata Ver1.1a, an anime adaptation that premiered on January 7, 2023, bringing the game’s gripping story to a whole new audience.
