Today in Starbound, we’ll be taking a look at the Frackin Universe race: the Nightar.
While very much like humans in appearance, these creatures are actually a vampiric race that do best in the shadows. They glow in the dark similar to Novakids, and they gain extra protection in low light conditions. In addition, they have a tiny chance of creating a Shadow Burst using dagger or sword attacks in dark conditions.
Due to their power coming out primarily at night, they actually make decent melee characters early on in Survival or Hardcore playthroughs, so check them out.
(also, space vampires are better than any vampires in “Twilight”. Prove me wrong XP)
