Today in Starbound, we’ll be taking a look at the Frackin Universe race: the Mantizi.
These warrior-like space beetles are the same race as the prankster NPC, Kevin, that you find at the Science Outpost. They have one of the most practical ships around with a huge amount of space given each time you upgrade it, and one of the cutest pets.
In addition, while they aren’t going to be super useful on the starter planets, their boosts given from being on Sulfuric planets and when exposed to radiation will help you out on the higher-tier planets. They also have quite a few shield bonuses, making them fairly good defensive characters.
