Nightmare of the Snow [Part 7] Never-ending Nightmare [FINAL]
0Here's the final episode of Nightmare of the Snow, so as always here's my ending talk about the game:
So first off, I'm sorry for not getting a good ending or going through a second time. I did like the game but a lot of the chase scenes were frustrating to the point I really just didn't want to play through them again. The Kayako phone chase especially wasn't something I wanted to relive again ^^;
I thought this game was charming! I like how it mixed up its gameplay and could be both scary and serious but also fun and lighthearted at times. I especially really liked Chapter 2 with exploring the hotel and everything. The plot, while a bit complicated, was something I really enjoyed actually. The dialog needed some editing but it wasn't anything life ending in terms of errors. All in all I think this a charming game that deserves to be played through at least once.
There's quite a few endings you can get and I enjoy that but I just wish getting a true ending didn't require you to new game plus it to get and I do wish the psycho point system was explained since by the time I found out about it by looking at the guides blog page I realized it'd be too late to go back to be able to save both Taiga and Kayako so I had to make a choice on who to sacrifice.
I hear the game dev has been working on a sequel to this game for a few years now and if he finishes it i'd love to see what the next game will have. It seems to be more cthulu inspired which is interesting.
