Speedrun of NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams, finishing all of Will's missions using an already completed file. Time is 44:35 from starting the game as Will on the character select to the final hit on Wizeman.

I use a completed file instead of starting a new game, as it makes the game a lot less not enjoyable to run. The changes include:

- Almost all cutscenes are removed or skippable (the main reason for doing this), and there's no need to do the tutorial.
- You have all the Persona transformations from the start; normally you unlock the Dolphin after Pure Valley, Rocket after Lost Park, and Dragon after Delight City. Having Rocket makes a really large difference throughout the run.
- You can switch to playing as the original NiGHTS characters, which saves time as it removes an otherwise unskippable ~25 second cutscene at the start of the final stage (though even if it lost time I'd probably use them anyway...).
- You fight Reala and a harder version of Wizeman at the end of the game, adding time to the run. It's possible to have a file with all the other benefits but without these extra bosses, but that feels [even more] arbitrary and I'd like the run to include "everything".

The Rocket transformation is, obviously, by far the fastest form of movement. For Rocket it's faster to keep tapping dash instead of holding it down, which also has the benefits of making it easier to control and using less of the dash meter.
