Ninja Division: Relic Knights- Alabaster Automata unboxed and built!
21When I saw this figure previewed, I knew I couldn't resist. Recorded in the dead of night when I was supposed to be sleeping and hyped up on coffee, I decided I needed to squeeze in one last model before we were on the plane.
Part of Ninja Division's new line of Masterclass resin models to help get things back on track financially as well as produce some interesting new models.
I'm all for new models and we'll try our best to skirt the whole kickstarter debate as best we can- I backed both major tabletop games and I'd like to see them some day as well.
Obviously this model is based on 2B from the latest Nier game, which I have no problems with them using as a source of inspiration.
Model went together easily, seeing as it only consists of 3 pieces. Parts were relatively clean and well cast.
For some reason it reminds me of something from Middara from Succubus Publishing- perhaps her being chained to the giant sword...?
I look forward to painting her up. Hopefully we'll see some more anime and game inspired Masterclass models in the future, especially if it helps my pledges get here that much more quickly!
