This is my guide and walkthrough for Ninja Gaiden 2 on Master Ninja difficulty played on the XBOX Series X. This walkthrough was recorded with the game outputted at 4K/120Hz, and the videos were recorded in and rendered at 4K/60fps.

In 2019, Ninja Gaiden 2 was given backwards compatibility along with “Enhanced” features. These features included 4K, HDR, and 60fps.

COMMENTARY NOTATIONS
2:56 The combo multiplier maxes out at 50. At the time this video was recorded, I did not know at what point the combo multiplier maxed out. So in terms of earning money, going beyond 50 hits on the combo counter is unnecessary.
3:19 40K essence will allow you to purchase the Level 2 strengths of the Dragon Sword and Lunar. Each upgrade costs 20K.
5:57 Instead of just pressing A and manually aiming the left analog stick in the direction of an enemy off of whom you want to Wind Path, it is preferable to press X + A instead. X + A is called the “Wind Run.” The Wind Run is an auto-targeting “homing jump.” Therefore, Wind Run into Wind Path offers greater safety and accuracy without the need to aim the left analog stick.
37:11 The reason The Guillotine Throw can miss is because of the way enemies strafe in this game and get at an angle that causes the Guillotine Throw to not line up properly
