This was my second practice session. For this session I learned stage 3 and tweaked the emulator (Retroarch 1.75) to reduce input lag. First time I fucked with this feature. Initially the response felt sluggish but after setting the emulator to Run ahead 2 frames control felt very tight. I tested several games afterward and this should improve my performance on the 8 and 16 bit machines, Neo Geo AES from what I tried. Doesnt work with some systems on my PC though. This is an added feaure of the newer Retroarch but it seems great after testing it on NES,SNES,Neo Geo AES and Genesis. I got to the third round on my first try on Mike Tyson (Tysons Punchout , NES) when I tried the game with the lag reduced. NG 3 controlled way more precise and tighter afterward as well. After practicing stage 3 I then tried the previous stages again to keep my memory sharp, since Ive been practicing only a little daily and not focusing solely on this game. My first practice session was yesterday for a little over 40 mins.
