Its coming back pretty quick. First time playing seriously in many years. Maybe 11.

This is around 90,000 points off from my old score. Close enough to give a general example of whats needed for points. This can definately be refined, beyond what I got in the past.

This mission took around 1 hour 27 minutes to complete with this score. This is some very light Ultimate Technique farming to show an example of some high level play needed to reach high score ranks. The harder farming sections can be around 10 minutes long and much more dangerous than this easy boss.

There is fights with two or three bosses at once. Including one with 3 worms.

This is one of the easiest missions, relative to the kind of shit that has to be done in this game. I had to practice again to get a feel for the game. I am starting to get a feel for consistantly landing On Landing Ultimate Techniques. These need to be timed a split second before hitting the ground. You start holding the charge button just before you make ground contact. This is for faster charging.

I will try to provide some basic tips and explain what I was doing here, until I get commentary abilities.

The goal here was to land as many ultimate techniques as possible. Alot of them were single charge techniques , which are not the best points wise. The double charge, or two orb techniques are the ones worth the most points.

I try to use the UTs on the regular enemies without hurting the worm. Then I start doing UTs on the isolated worm. This is to squeeze out more UTs.

I also try to plan my onlanding UTs right at the edge of the water and concrete so that I can trigger the worm into his close range attacks. There are 3 different types. The one where he buries himself in the ground requires you to be very close to the edge with the war hammer. I use the celerity bracelet as well as this reduces UT charge time slightly.

When jumping off the wall and landing on the edge, or landing on the edge from a regular jump, its important to avoid the water as it electrocutes you. So it can be a little tricky to land in that area consistantly while landing the onlanding UT.

I will also do regular jumping attacks for a quick way to kill the enemies and create some orbs to charge UTs off of. I wasnt really trying to get health orbs. Holding block all the time means you dont absorb the orbs for money or health, ninpo. When you release block you will absorb them. This allows me to pick and choose when I want to collect them and when I want to use them for my UT charge attacks.

I tried to manual charge as many UTs as possible since I can milk the most points that way. This was a rough version of how I probably played this mission back then.

This is just going off memory, but if I had to guess, I probably took larger risks when I played this mission years ago to get the extra 90 k. Really refining the mission scores. Meaning I probably only accepted full UTs, not the single charge ones. That takes more planning and risk. I also may have had a better method. Though I would grind out missions until I got what I wanted from them for the most part. I was very stubborn. I was part of the IberianWarrior forums and there was alot of information about scoring back then, so its possible I had some better ideas back then.

None of what I did was recorded, so I have to try and remember and figure it out for now.
