Additional Info: the in-hand sword of a delimbed archer (or the delimbed arm for that matter) does not only determine what Grab he will go for, but also what combo he is going to use.
Everything an Archer / Fiend Archer does in melee combat can be countered, including all of his grabs and suicide grabs. (The only exception is his guard breaking strong attack...)
Shuriken do NOT stun archers in ranged mode, but do so in melee mode.
