Este juego me recuerda mucho a Mega Man X6; porque al igual que CAPCOM, Tecmo trató de hacer aún más difícil el juego forzando mucho algunas cosas; por ejemplo la Hit box del Ninja es horrible y los controles son mucho más lentos a comparación de los dos juegos anteriores. Además, TEAM NINJA comenzaba a meter ideas bastante extrañas como naves espaciales y clones mutantes... Es decir... se empezaba a parecer más a Dead or Alive.
