Episode Notes:
1. Captured on the Mega SG.
2. The NES game is still my favorite release in the franchise.
3. My friend Tyrik could beat the NES version with ease. No joke. Went through it like it was NOTHING. It was maddening to hear him gloat. I was nowhere near as good.
4. I consider the SMS version the superior to this for its content. This could have been better if it weren't neutered.
5. There was an excellent Ninja Gaiden on the Game Boy. If Sega was gonna half ass it, they should have just ported that.
6. There was a Ninja Gaiden in the works for the Sega Genesis, but it was canceled before completion.
7. If you were first introduced to Ninja Gaiden on the NES, chances are you are gonna hate this. It took me awhile to warm up to it. It's a very different game in feel and tone.
