Ninja Ryūkenden III: Yomi no Hakobune No Death Playthrough
2I will go more in depth in the description on why this is probably my favorite 2D action-platformer for the NES version. As for this version, it's far too easy! Getting a no death was no problem at all. Enemies do one damage so you can afford to tank them and never really have to respect them. Almost every enemy does one damage, which is no problem for Ryu who has a whole lot more than one health. Enemies do one damage in Duck Tales, but Scrooge McDuck starts off with only 3 HP! The low difficulty must have drawn criticism in Japan, so they increased it a whole lot for the NES game... potentially going overboard with it even, but I think they were good changes. I would be very disappointed if they kept it the same.
