Nintendo Entertainment System - Nintendo Switch Online Part 29: Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels
2A new update for this month has released three new NES games to Nintendo Switch Online, and one Special Edition game, the three new games are Punch-Out!!, Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, and Star Soldier, and the Special Edition game is Kid Icarus.
The first game is Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, which is the harder version of the original Super Mario Bros., and was known as Super Mario Bros. 2 in Japan. This game is considered one of the hardest Nintendo games.
Outside of Japan, we instead got another game which was called Super Mario Bros. 2, which is known as Super Mario USA in Japan.
The difference with the Lost Levels is not only its higher difficulty, but they also have an item called the Poison Mushroom which can reverse the effects of a Super Mushroom, or even cause you to lose a life, and they also added level warps that send the player farther back in the game, and wind gusts that hinder your progress.
The good thing about this game is that you can play as Mario or Luigi in single player mode, and go through the challenges that await in this game.
