Nintendo FALTERS AGAIN with Switch OLED and Switch Online

The gaming industry and gaming community are at it's breaking point.
The launch of the OLED Model Switch in the US was a disaster, thanks to scalpers running rampant on online and retail storefronts. Additionally, the price of the Switch Expansion Pack (which includes a paid DLC for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Nintendo 64 games, and Sega Mega Drive/Genesis games) was revealed, and many did not take the $30 increase well. The Smash Community, which is infested with everlasting toxicity, was especially vocal about the Expansion Pack.
Several Kingdom Hearts games were announced to be released on Switch as "cloud games", which relies on online infrastructure to play games remotely. This has not only defeated the purpose of the Switch as a portable system, but it also brought massive criticism (with some salty individuals even using US politics as an argument against cloud gaming).
However, despite all of Nintendo's blunders in the past few months, I think the console manufacturer that is the most responsible for the majority of the damage in the gaming industry is Sony.
I received an email last night from Sony that literally used the PS5 launch title "Spider-Man: Miles Morales" as political propaganda. The writing is in the wall that Sony has erased the line between politics and gaming.
The next-gen consoles remain extremely difficult, if not impossible, to find. The rolling blackouts in mainland China are not helping either, as many manufacturing facilities within the most populous nation on earth are struggling to produce items for other countries.
All this will lead to a permanent industry-wide collapse that not even Nintendo can save.
