The Nintendo Switch Community is tearing itself apart
Despite the resounding commercial success of the Nintendo Switch, the console's community has always been an extremely divisive one.
Nintendo has engaged in controversial practices regarding the Nintendo Switch Online service, including a limited selection of NES and SNES games, poor connectivity with games that require extremely accurate timings (such as Smash Bros.), and arousing the Switch Community in the US so they can have talking points about the 2017 Net Neutrality Repeal over and over again.
However, the unavailability of the Switch OLED Model, as well as the Switch Online Expansion Pack takes this drama a step further.
One of the most outspoken critics of both the OLED Model and the Switch Online Expansion Pack have made not one but TWO videos of poor N64 Emulation on Switch Online, and honestly, it's only stirring up the already-divisive Switch community.
The days of "Let's play a game" are gone now. To play games, you'll have to engage in online arguments, fight scalpers when buying the newest games consoles and GPUs, and deal with politics that have infested the games industry.
NOTE: I do not condone what Nintendo is doing either; this is just a response to online communities intensifying the issue.
