After tons of rumors, leaks, and speculation we finally have confirmation of the successor to the Nintendo Switch, simply called the Nintendo Switch 2. Although pricing, release dates, new software, and features have yet to be announced, we at least know a bit to go off of! The name, the look, and the existence of backwards compatibility have been confirmed in the two minute teaser. I wanted to share my thoughts over Nintendo playing it safe, keeping backwards compatibility on hand, and a bit more to discuss over their upcoming successor to the Switch.
