Nintendo can not afford to jump into the next generation without thinking things through. They are currently having many problems with Wii U they can not repeat in the next generation and beyond. But if they jump on it next year and don't plan how things go it could come back to bight them in the end.

My thoughts? Finish Wii U right with 2-3 more years and make sure the next system is good from the get go. Work on acquiring third party support. Use your franchises. Actually market the system. And most importantly.....keep an eye on what Sony and Microsoft will be doing.
